The stories we tell ourselves about who we are, what we’re worth, and what we’re capable of can be some of the hardest things to sit with. They shape how we see ourselves, how we move through the world, and what we believe is possible. Sometimes those stories are helpful. Other times they’re limiting, outdated, or quietly doing damage in the background.
My job is to make space for those stories to come up without judgement, and then help you look at them honestly. We slow things down. We figure out where the story came from, who taught it to you, and whether it’s still serving you now. Whether you’re dealing with loss, anxiety, depression, addiction, or the low-grade feeling that something just isn’t right, the work is the same: make sense of what’s happened, build a steadier foundation, and figure out what you actually want your life to look like from here.
I aim to offer a space that feels steady, warm, and honest. You can speak openly. You’ll be heard. And when it matters, I’ll push back. Good therapy isn’t just empathy. It’s a real conversation with someone who’s actually paying attention.
Clinically, I draw from a few different approaches depending on what you need: EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) for relational and attachment work, CBT for the link between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, IFS (Internal Family Systems) to get to know the different parts of yourself, EMDR for processing trauma, and the CSAT framework for sex and porn addiction recovery. The specific tool matters less than whether it actually helps you access yourself and move forward.
