Move Forward
Stop going in circles and start making real, lasting changes in your life.
“I just want to feel like myself again.”
Maybe you have been carrying something for a long time. You tell yourself you should be able to handle it. That other people have it worse. That if you just push through a little longer, things will get better on their own. But they haven't. And the weight of it is starting to show up everywhere: in your relationships, your sleep, your mood, your motivation.
You might not be in crisis. But something is off, and you know it. The version of yourself you used to recognize feels further away than it should. Asking for help was never part of the plan, but keeping everything inside is no longer working either.
That tension you are feeling is not weakness. It is the beginning of honesty. And therapy starts right there.
Do any of these sound familiar?
“Why can't I just get over this?”
“I feel like I'm falling behind everyone else.”
“I know something needs to change but I don't know where to start.”
“I'm tired of pretending everything is fine.”
“I don't even know what I'm feeling anymore.”
“I should be able to handle this on my own.”

How we help
We do not believe in cookie-cutter therapy. Every person who walks through our door, or connects through a screen, brings a different story, a different set of struggles, and a different way of making sense of the world. Our job is to meet you where you are.
Our approach is relational, person-centred, and grounded in evidence-based methods. That means we draw from modalities like CBT, emotion-focused therapy, somatic approaches, and EMDR, depending on what fits you best. The goal is not to fix you. It is to help you understand yourself more clearly so you can make choices that actually reflect who you are.
Therapy here is direct, honest, and collaborative. We will challenge you when it matters and hold space when you need it. Whether you are dealing with something specific or just feel stuck in a way you cannot explain, this is a place where that gets to be enough.

Questions about individual therapy
How do I know if I need therapy?
If something feels off, that is reason enough. You do not need a diagnosis or a crisis to start therapy. Many people come in because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. If you are spending a lot of energy just getting through the day, or if the same patterns keep showing up in your relationships, work, or mood, therapy can help you understand why and start making changes.
How often are sessions?
Most clients start with weekly sessions to build momentum and establish a strong therapeutic relationship. As you progress, we may shift to biweekly sessions. The pace is always collaborative and based on what works best for you.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is about getting to know each other. We will talk about what brought you in, what you are hoping to get out of therapy, and a bit about your history. There is no pressure to share everything right away. Think of it as a conversation, not an evaluation. By the end, we will have a clearer picture of how to move forward together.
How long does therapy take?
It depends on what you are working through. Some clients find meaningful shifts in 8 to 12 sessions. Others choose to stay longer to work through deeper patterns. There is no set timeline. Therapy moves at your pace, and we will check in regularly about how things are going.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Everything shared in therapy is confidential. There are a few legal exceptions, such as imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, or the disclosure of abuse involving a child. These limits are discussed upfront so there are no surprises. Your privacy is foundational to the work we do.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. We offer secure video sessions for anyone located in Ontario. Virtual therapy is just as effective as in-person for most concerns, and it removes barriers like commute time and scheduling constraints. Many of our clients prefer the flexibility of meeting online.
