We're Hiring a Registered Psychotherapist (RP or Qualifying)

Part-Time → Full-TimeToronto (Etobicoke) · HybridSupervision Available

Addy Psychotherapy is growing, and we're looking for a therapist who genuinely cares about the work.

We're a specialized private practice in Etobicoke, serving the GTA and focused on men's mental health, sex addiction recovery, couples and betrayal trauma, teen therapy, and spiritual abuse recovery. The clients who come to us are looking for more than surface level support. They want real change, and they deserve a therapist who can meet them there.

The role

We're hiring a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) to join our team. The position starts part time, with a clear path to full time as your caseload builds. You'll carry your own clients, have access to a great office space on Lake Shore Blvd W, and work within a practice that prioritizes depth over volume.

This is a hybrid position. You'll see some clients in person at our Etobicoke office and others virtually across Ontario. We use Jane App for scheduling and documentation, and we'll walk you through everything during onboarding.

What you'll do

  • Carry a caseload of individual clients (adults, men, teens, and/or couples)
  • Provide thoughtful, evidence based psychotherapy grounded in your clinical training
  • Maintain thorough clinical documentation through Jane App
  • Participate in regular clinical consultation and peer support
  • Help shape and grow the practice through your expertise and presence

Who we're looking for

More than anything, we want someone who is warm, relational, and genuinely curious about people. Someone who doesn't shy away from hard conversations and who can hold space without losing themselves in it.

Requirements

  • Registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as an RP or RP (Qualifying)
  • Master’s degree in counselling, psychotherapy, or a related field
  • Strong foundation in at least one modality (e.g. CBT, EFT, EMDR, somatic, psychodynamic, narrative)
  • Comfortable working with men, teens, or couples. Experience is preferred but not required
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Reliable internet connection for virtual sessions

Nice to have (not required)

  • Experience or interest in sex addiction recovery (CSAT training, or a willingness to pursue it)
  • EMDR trained or currently in training
  • Experience working with faith based or spiritually informed populations
  • Comfort facilitating group therapy
