I started Addy Psychotherapy after going through a difficult period in my own life. I spent years trying to keep everything inside, convincing myself I could handle it alone. Instead, I felt increasingly disconnected, unseen, and overwhelmed.
When I finally sat with a therapist, something shifted. I felt understood in a way I hadn’t before. But I also noticed how much of mental health care can overlook the layered, lived experiences that shape who we are. That gap stayed with me.
Many people who come to me have felt like something was missing in the support they’ve received before. They want a space where they can bring their full selves and be met with care that actually fits.
My work is about meeting people where they are, with honesty, respect, and hope. Reaching out is a powerful step toward change, and I’m grateful to walk that path with those who choose to.
